A native of New England, Jeff Vincent spent his childhood summers constructing tree houses, cabins, and skateboard ramps from discarded construction site materials. After receiving his BA from the University of Vermont, Jeff pursued a career in construction and worked as a carpenter and project manager at a timber frame company in Northern Vermont, while occasionally spending summers working as part of a hotshot crew for the Alaska Fire Service. A decade later, Jeff switched gears and sold the house he built in Vermont and entered the Master of Architecture program at the University of Oregon, where he expanded his understanding of the built world though a designer’s lens. In his final year of the program, Jeff interned at PATH Architecture, which lead to him working full time for Ben Kaiser upon receiving his M.Arch. from the U of O. Jeff is working toward his architectural license and enjoys the balance of design, construction, and management that his job demands of him.
